With 23 years of experience in the Baytown area, Dr. Michael A. Hurd is an experienced and compassionate dentist who offers comprehensive, high-quality gentle dental care in his state-of-the-art practice.

Dr. Michael A. Hurd completed his Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of St. Thomas in 1985. And the University of Texas Dental Branch in 1991. He is a member of The Baytown Study Club, Greater Houston Dental Society, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Michael A. Hurd and his staff are proud of the warm patient-friendly environment they have created and of the lifelong relationships they have built with multi-generational families in the area. Dr. Hurd welcomes patients of all ages and looks forward to meeting you and offering you the professional, caring and pain free oral health care that you deserve.

When not in the office, Dr. Hurd enjoys sports and the outdoors. And spending time with his wife and two daughters

Heather is a graduate of Texas A&M Corpus Christi University in 2002. During this time, she earned her Bachelor's in Biology with a minor in chemistry. She then went on to attend The University of Texas Dental Branch where she received a second bachelor's degree and her dental hygiene license in 2004 (RDH).

Heather has been working with Dr. Hurd since 2015 with the goal of creating a better healthcare environment for her patients by explaining to patients their dental and gum conditions and helping them practice excellent oral hygiene. What Heather enjoys most about dentistry is building relationships with patients and helping them achieve a healthy smile. When you are in her chair, Heather strives to make dental visits a comfortable and positive experience. She is talented at explaining dentistry in easy-to-understand terms and loves creating personalized, realistic, home care routines for her patients based on their lifestyles. The most rewarding part of being a dental hygienist for Heather is seeing the confidence build in her patients as they take control of not only their oral health but overall health.

When Heather isn't at the office, you will most likely find her nose in a book, camping, watching an Astros game, crafting, and snuggling with her dogs.

Michelle and Dr. Hurd have worked together since 2000. Michelle began her dental career as a dental assistant 33 years ago. Her current role is that of office manager. She will help coordinate and explain any issues with finances, insurance, and treatment plans.

 She enjoys helping and interacting with patients. Michelle loves to travel, dine out, and spend time outdoors. She values quality time with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Jennifer has years of experience in the dental field. She was a long-time patient of Dr. Hurd's and now has been working with us for 9 years. Jennifer has enjoyed getting to know our patients and working with our amazing staff.

Her job is helping patients in any way she can, whether that's discussing their insurance, and treatment or making them smile when they walk through the door.

Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys decorating, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Hannah has 14 years of dental experience. She joined our team in 2021. Hannah is passionate about getting to know all of our patients and making sure they receive quality service and attention from our front office. In her free time, Hannah enjoys being outdoors, watching baseball, and spending time with her children.

Julie has 29 years dental experience and 17 years in this practice. She feels fortunate to say that she really likes all aspects of her job, especially making our patients feel comfortable providing them with quality care in a comfortable atmosphere and the opputunity it gives her to meet and get to know them and their families

When outside the office she enjoys shopping and spending time with her friends . She has one son and two beautiful grandkids that she cherishes making everlasting memories with.

Heather has 2 years of experience in the dental field. Before pursuing her passion for dentistry she first served in the US military. Heather first fell in love with dentistry when she was about fifteen years old. After seeing how life-changing ortho was for a friend of hers, she knew dentistry was the career field she wanted to be in. Heather is passionate about helping each patient receive the best treatment and providing a positive experience. Outside work, she enjoys traveling, music, trying new foods, and creating lasting memories with her children. She feels so blessed to have a career she loves and to be working with a team that feels like family.
